The ASEAN Disaster Information Network (ADINet) is a repository of information concerning hazards and disasters that have happened in the region. The platform is open for public, which means that the public can submit information about any hazard and disaster to the AHA Centre.
Based on the Figure above, ASEAN already use GIS, Satellite-Based Disaster Monitoring System, crowd-sourcing information through ASEAN Disaster Information Network (ADINet), Space and Geospatial Information Technology (SGIT), web-based platform system, and cash transfer programmes in achieving the mature level of disaster management.
In terms of disaster management, big data in the ASEAN region commonly contains several major data sources from satellite imagery, UAV (drone), wireless sensor web and IoT, crowdsourcing, social media, and mobile GPS (AHA Centre, 2019, p. 31).
